So I go to work all week from 7:30am to 4pm so by the time the weekend comes around I don't really feel like doing anything but I don't want to just sit at home either. This weekend I've been catching up with the guys from uni who, all now employed, are in the same situation as I am.

Last night I went to the movies to see 'Hard Candy' with Thei and Bronwyn. Voted one of the worst movies of all time by a 2:1 vote means I wasted my $9.50. If anyone wants to see what it's about you can just Google the name but if you want to know if you should see it, this is me saying no. While it was interesting enough from a storyline point of view, (interesting doesn't mean good), the whole thing was very unbelievable and in the end I came out feeling worse than when I went in, and I didn't feel like I'd been entertained. My time might have been more productivly wasted had I sat at home and done nothing.

Sunday was much more enjoyable. KJ, Thei and I went cafe hopping in Indro. We got breakfast at the first, desert from another, and should have stopped for coffee somewhere else. I think that next weekend we could try out the Mexican restaurant in Taringa but I think everyone wants to do something other than eat and fill in time. Skirmish anyone?
