4 RBT's and a burning wheelie bin
In category General on 01 Apr 2006 @ 04:13 am
So Saul brought home 10 of his drunk friends who proceeded to trash upstairs for a bit but one girl decided she wanted to scream and yell instead. By 3am I was sick of being kept up so I said either she calls a cab or I take her home myself so I had a lovely drive out to Kenmore. At this point I decided that seeing I was up, I would go and take some photos of the city because there was an eerie sort of fog covering everything so Lisa and I set off for Southbank. On the way down Coronation Drive there was an RBT where the police also informed me that my passenger side headlight was out. When we did eventually get to Southbank the river didn't look good enough to take photos of and we were too close to the city to see the fog so we continued on to Kangaroo Point. We stopped to take photos opposite the church just before another RBT and took a few mediocre photos before moving along a bit and as I was setting up my camera, I noticed some guy setting a wheelie bin alight in the park below the cliffs.

We went and had a chat to the cops who came and got the number plates of the car. I tried taking more photos of the city but the smoke from the burning plastic bin basically ruined all the shots. I had to go through the RBT at the top of the cliffs and then on the drive home I went through a third RBT on Ann Street. Finally I went through the Coronation Drive RBT again just before getting home just before 4am. After transferring the photos to my computer there are apparently no really good photos, (a lot due to the smoke from the bin getting in the way), and I ended up having to give my details to the police yet again. What a night.

I'm sure it sounds more exciting than it was. The noxious fumes were starting to make me dizzy so I decided to move away from the edge of the cliffs.

This is what I meant by "ruined my photos"...
