Evanescence at 24000 feet is a bad sign? In Flames, thats better.. I've been too busy to write lately because I've been hanging out in Miami so this is for the last 3 days or so.
Wednesday:
This morning Ariel and I went out for pizza for breakfast at like 11am. The place I'm staying at is surrounded by awesome little restaurants and I wish I had the time to try them all. After breakfast we went to 'Johnny Rockets' which was like a fifty's themed restaurant and I got a proper vanilla coke, (i.e. they poured in vanilla and added coke). It's hard to find vanilla coke here in the States. While it was trialed here with cherry coke like in Australia, the American public decided to keep cherry coke. We did a bit of exploring around Coco Walk before heading back to my room where we just chilled and watched tv and stuff while we listened to music. It wasn't a bad view from my room, (even if it did face the city and not the beach).
The view from my room and a photo of Coco Walk
On the tv there was a modified N64 controller (you remember the Nintendo 64?) and for only $7 an hour you could play awesome games like Mario Tennis. Lately I've been keeping normal-people hours so I went to bed relatively early.
Thursday:
Ariel was busy before about 3pm so I just chilled in the hotel room and took photos of cars from my balcony (lucky for optical zoom because I was on the 21st floor).

Cars that drove past. There were more Porche, Ferrari and Lamborghini than I could count
When she arrived we went to 'Johnny Rockets' again (I love that place) and got chicken and chips and of course I got a vanilla coke. We got the same creepy/cool waiter as the day before. Ariel thought he was creepy and had funny hair while I thought he was cool and was very friendly. I was paying so I left a tip. Then later we went to Starbucks for some drink which I can't remember the name of, (Ariel leave a comment?), which was practically liquid chocolate and made both of us feel sick.
After a tearful goodbye, (I won't say who), Ariel had to leave and I went to bed after chatting online for a bit. I had to get up really early for my flight.
Friday:
My flight left at 7am but there was no way I was going to get up at like 4:30am just to get there a couple of hours early so I set the evil alarm clock of doom for 5:15am and when It went off I got up straight away. I'd done most of the packing last night so I packed the rest, checked my room, and set off back to Michigan with my moose. I figured there would be no one at the airport at 6am anyway.. But I was soooo wrong. It was very busy and I was standing next to people in line who had already missed their flights and were about to miss the next ones as well. Even after checking in, the line for security was about 2 hours long, which isn't good when my flight left in less than half an hour. Luckily there was someone moving people around so they didn't miss flights and I managed to make it to my gate on time. I miss Ariel already. *pouts*. lol. The flights were relatively uneventful except for a seat change when I left Cincinnati, I was moved to seat 11A instead of 13A because the plane we had only went up to 12D. Now I am safely back in Lansing and I will be uploading lots of photos shortly.

Did you really think the restaurants were awesome? (laughs) And you were pretty inland. Last time you were on the Beach and you could see some of the beach. God, I cried lots both times. It gets worse every time. Next time I have to go I'm going to cry so hard, it's going to be horrible. "Luckily there was someone moving people around so they didn't miss flights and I managed to make it to my gate on time." As much as you may hate Miami we try to keep people from missing their flights. I guess I thought everyone was like that, which was why I was so sure people would try to make sure you didn't miss your flight back to Aus. I knew you would make it back though. Whenever I'm out, I notice how shiny all of our cars are and I think of the way you were going on about how we'd smash them all the time although we don't. I really really want the black car that's in the picture. We should get one. Eventually.

And that guy was creepy. I guess it's just that he treated us like tourists. It was your accent. But god. I hate the tourist treatment.
(laughs) And I love the way you say you "chilled" when in reality you nearly died of boredom until I could drag you out of your room.
(laughs) Brx duh gyxi Alir Brx tsyx. I told you I wouldn't pout.
