AMD spoon
In category General on 11 Mar 2005 @ 02:30 pm
When someone asks me to build or work on an AMD system the first thing I ask them is, "Got spoon?". Anyone who has built a lot of AMD systems know how hard it can be to put on or remove the standard heatsinks. Well not anymore! The AMD spoon may look like an ordinary teaspoon. (Well it is. I use it to eat cereal.) It is the perfect shape and size to fit the metal tabs on the AMD heatsinks so that there is no chance of it slipping and going through the motherboard. Everyone should find and get one of these and put in the essential geebin toolkit.
