Voluntary Student Unionism:
I don't see what anyone's problem is with VSU. The main reason I think it's a good idea is because UQ Sport is getting my money and I'm an I.T. student.. That's just silly.
For my $136 per semester I get random editions of Semper Floreat (when I remember to pick them up) and the chance to join BITS. Both of which I'm sure I could live without if I didn't have to spend the last of my savings on them.
