Spammers must wait and die

Spam is sytematically destroying the amout people use email. Personally I dread checking hotmail inboxes because I know that even with subject filters blocking 90% of the spam I am still going to have to sift through the junk to find any legitimate emails. Well there is an article on CNET "How to stop spam: Charge for the stamp" about making the spammers pay, not with money but with cpu time, to send emails marked as legitimate. At about 10 seconds per email there isn't going to be much difference for individual emails. Only when you try sending billions of emails is it going to get annoying. I hope they get any bugs sorted out with this and implement it soon. Before I give up on email all together.
